Pattern: Cookie A’s “Twisted Flower”
Yarn: Rio de la Plata superwash sock in Sparkling Grape
Mods: Added half a repeat on the leg, changed heel pattern to twisted rib
I don’t have much to say about these, except they took me a long time (over a month) and they are my new favorite things in the world. These are my most favorite socks that I have knit to date… the fit is perfect, the color is great, and, well, I’m just smitten! It’s love.
You may have noticed, I haven’t been around here lately. It’s been a hectic month despite actually having very little to do. Since I moved home I’ve been searching for a full-time job, but have only in the past few weeks finally caved and taken on a couple part-time jobs until I can find something. It’s been more than a bit stressful. But I’ve been reconnecting with some old friends, making new ones, and making lots of plans. Things are on the up and up again…

Very pretty! All those twisted stitches would have slayed me, but I’m glad that you pressed on.
